These labels are used in maximum-harsh environment situations
involving cryogenic freezing.
Specialty adhesives and substrates are required to adhere in low
temperatures. Generally small in size, these labels are primarily
used in cryogenic testing and storage laboratories for specimen
identification. Also used by manufacturers of equipment that must
operate in cryogenic environments.

Sample shown is produced on 3.5 mil.
thermal transfer printable, flexible white matte polyethylene film
coated with permanent pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. It has
been tested under continuous and cycled exposure to cryogenic
conditions of -80 degrees Celsius.
